    Finally Felt Heard

My experience was wonderful. For the first time in years, I felt heard and treated as a person. Dr. Alam was kind, informative, and took the time to truly listen and explain my test results. He answered my wife's questions as thoughtfully as he answered mine. Dr. Alam never felt rushed or focused on just getting me in and out, and that means a lot these days.

    A Night and Day Difference

I switched rheumatologists because my last doctor facilitated my care through nurse practitioner notes. Went through the Methodist network and found Dr. Alam and completely satisfied with his care and assessment for my health. Night and day difference, highly recommend Dr. Alam.

No huge crowd in the waiting room, which is comfortable and very clean. Dr. Alam didn't rush and still took the time to listen. He seemed genuinely concerned for me and was very pleasant and helpful. The front desk and the MA were also very nice. It was easy to get an appointment when I wanted. I highly recommend Dr. Alam.

What does a rheumatologist treat?

Rheumatologists diagnose and treat arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and bone conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, Sjögren’s disease, gout, and osteoporosis.

Consider an evaluation for joint pain or swelling that lasts more than a few weeks, morning stiffness that lasts longer than 30 minutes, or an abnormal blood test such as a positive ANA or rheumatoid factor.
